4 Reasons Why Date Night Money is The Best Money

How many of you have let weeks, even months go by without a date night?

You and your partner are busy, you have several obligations and on top of all of that, you have children to raise.

There just isn’t even enough time in a day! Can I get an amen?

Here’s the thing, we happen to be huge advocates of date night. Even though we're married and we technically don't need to schedule a date night, we do.

We have found that when we feel disconnected all that we need is quality time and date night seems to keep us in check.

Instead of worrying about where the money’s going to come from, why don’t you set aside date night money so that you can get rid of at least one of the excuses?

I dare you! And in the meantime, here are the reasons why we think it’s important.

1. Date night keeps you connected to your partner.

We all know that sometimes staying in seems easier, but it’s important that you take the time to set aside intentional conversation between the two of you, and I get that this can be hard when you’re living a busy life, but it’s essential.

2. It's fun!

It makes it exciting to have something to dress up for and helps you keep the relationship alive.

Date night doesn’t have to be an extravagant evening, you just have to be creative. Sometimes it means keeping your phone at home and talking over some Chick-Fil-A.

3. It gives you something to look forward to.

This will help you get out of your regular routine and try the new restaurant in town.

4. If you are connected, it will be SO much easier to talk about the BUDGET.

We all have times when it is difficult to talk about the dreaded budget with our significant others.

Date night is important because if you are in communication with one another, you will be able to knock out those student loans.

We really recommend doing regular date nights, even if that means you do date night at home.
